4 Drivers Cited, 1 Arrested During DUI Checkpoint In Redlands

Redlands police said 461 vehicles were screened during the DUI checkpoint on Friday.

REDLANDS, CA — Four drivers were cited and one person was arrested during a DUI checkpoint Friday night in Redlands, police said.

According to the Redlands Police Department, 461 vehicles were screened during the DUI checkpoint, which was staged near Brookside Avenue and Eureka Street between 6 p.m. Friday and 1 a.m. Saturday.

Four drivers were cited for operating a vehicle without a license or with a suspended/revoked license. One driver was arrested for selling marijuana, police said.

Friday's DUI checkpoint in Redlands was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
