42 Pounds Of Cocaine Recovered During 'Small-Time' Drug Dealer Bust

San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department investigators uncovered $700K of drugs. One Grand Terrace man was arrested at the scene.

GRAND TERRACE, CA — A suspected narcotics dealer was arrested Friday after being found with over $700,000 worth of drugs, including 42-pounds of cocaine, according to the San Bernardino County sheriff's department.

Ulises Solis-Diaz, 40, of Grand Terrace, was arrested Friday during a drug deal investigation in Grand Terrace, the department reported.

He is being held in the Central Detention Center on over $2 million bail, awaiting charges of possession of narcotics for sales.

On Friday, Grand Terrace investigators followed leads of "hand-to-hand" drug sales in the area of Grand Terrace Road and Canal Street, the sheriff's department said in a recent release. Officers identified Solis-Diaz and learned he had an active warrant for his arrest.

During their search, investigators discovered a "large quantity of Fentanyl pills in a bag, as well as ammunition and a "Slim Jim" tool commonly sued in car thefts. He also was found with a key to another car filled with 19 bricks of cocaine, totaling 42 pounds and a street value of $700,000, Deputy J. Holt reported.
