55-Hour Closure Of Eastbound 60 Freeway Scheduled This Weekend

CHINO, CA — If your weekend travel plans include driving on eastbound state Route 60, you may want to consider a detour.

Beginning at 11 p.m. Friday and continuing until 5 a.m. Monday, eastbound SR-60 will be closed at the Ramona Avenue overcrossing in Chino for work on the $8.7 million SR-60 Corridor Improvement Project, according to Caltrans.

During the 55-hour closure, traffic will be rerouted and there will be delays, according to Caltrans. Additionally, there will be no access to Interstate 15 via SR-60 during the closure.
