9/11/2001 ........A Bloody Morning After, One Tin Soldier Rides Away
Today a day to bow ones head, and wonder why
Survivors, rescuers, a day when grown men cry
A desperate act to strike fear within us all
To test our beliefs and see if we may fall
The Land that we grew and raise our children in
An invisible enemy wages war none can ever win
Its not a war, for any side to win,too much to lose
Still WE reserve the freedom to live and choose
Choose to honor ALL that became HEROES
Not by choice, but by acts of unseen foes
Men and women near and far, DO what they can do
Police, firefighters, and every type of rescue crew
Each and everyone stood side by side, NONE asked WHY
This is America, where WE stand together and live or die
