Amelia Earhart Program at Beaumont Library

Celebrate Women's History Month by learning about America's famous first female aviator

In honor of Women’s History Month, Beaumont Library is presenting a special program on Amelia Earhart, the first female aviator to fly solo over the Atlantic Ocean.

Actress and author Roberta Bassin will portray Earhart in this live performance which takes you back to 1937 as the pilot was beginning the Pacific leg of an around-the-world flight just before her tragic and mysterious disappearance.

Learn how one woman captured the world’s imagination at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 18 in the library’s Laura May Stewart Room. This free program is open to all ages and no registration is required.
