'American Hot Rods' Star Builds $150K Ford Speedster for Morongo Giveaway

“American Hot Rods” reality show star Duane Mayer and the Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa are ratcheting up the excitement in October by giving slot players a chance to win a specially built 1933 Ford Speedster Coupe valued at $150,000.

“Duane Mayer has poured his creativity, passion and genius into a one-of-a-kind, cherry red hot rod for Morongo’s monthlong Hot Rods, Cars and Cash Giveaway in October, which will end with one lucky slot player driving home on Oct. 26 in this custom designed work of art,” said Morongo’s Executive Director of Marketing Phil Cooper.

Mayer, star of the Discovery Channel’s “American Hot Rods,” will be on hand at Morongo on Oct. 4 and Oct. 5 to talk shop with fans and gearheads, and to autograph copies of his book at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.

On Oct. 26, Mayer will return to give away his custom-built beauty at 10 p.m. to a lucky slot player.

Throughout October, Morongo also will be giving away a new Mustang GT Coupe Premium to a lucky slot player every Sunday (Oct. 5, Oct. 12 and Oct. 19), or a share of $8,000 in free slot pay.

Hot Rods, Cars & Cash Giveaway entries for the 1933 Ford Speedster Coupe or Mustangs can only be earned by playing slots with a Morongo Winner’s Club card.
