BEAUMONT, CA — No arrests have been announced following a fatal shooting over the weekend in Beaumont.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. Saturday, the Beaumont Police Department received multiple reports of gunshots being fired about three blocks west of the agency's headquarters.
Officers responded to the area and found a wounded man in the 600 block of Euclid Avenue. He was suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the police department.
The victim's identity was not released, nor was further information about the violence.
"Detectives are actively investigating the incident as a homicide," the agency reported. "No additional details are being released at this time as the investigation remains ongoing."
