Found It Again Store Open This Weekend At RivCo Landfill: What To Know When You Go

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — In Beaumont, there is a little store that residents clamor to see open.

The Found it Again Store is open from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 30, and is located at Lamb Canyon Landfill, 16411 Lamb Canyon Road, Beaumont. It is proof of the saying "One man’s trash is another man’s treasure!”

Since 2024, the Department of Waste Resources has been recovering durable, usable, and valuable items from the waste stream as it enters the landfill, a spokesperson for the landfill said.

"Upon careful inspection and cleaning, these secondhand pieces are made available for purchase at a bargain rate. The goal is simple – extend the life of our landfills while giving resourceful residents the opportunity to find useful items."

You never know what you'll find, so keep an open mind and your credit card.

Inventory can include exercise and sports equipment, lawn equipment, tools, bicycles, scooters, grills, toys, vintage goods, furniture and more.

Riverside County residents can shop the inventory on purchases by card ONLY (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover accepted).

Shoppers are encouraged to arrive on time, as inventory often sells out!

Store rules:

All visitors must check in and out at the Gate Fee Booth/Scale House before entering the landfill.
High-visibility safety vests and closed-toe shoes are required while visiting the landfill.
Visitors must load any materials purchased at the Found It Again Reuse Store.
Visitors must secure or cover their load in a manner which will prevent items from falling, spilling, or blowing out while the vehicle is in motion.
Children must be supervised by parents or guardians. (Children should not be riding or playing with store items).
Items may be purchased by card only. Cash is not accepted.
Note: All prices are non-negotiable. Any items in dispute between customers will not be sold.
