BANNING, CA — A water main break prompted a shut down of service after a Banning street flooded, leaving maintenance crews to clean up the aftermath.

Crews repaired the water main break after it was reported on Monday, leaking water onto 7th Street.

The workers repaired the break on Monday and cleaned up the remaining mess on Tuesday. Motorists were urged to drive with caution if they travel in the area.
