BEAUMONT, CA — Two small earthquakes rattled the San Gorgonio Pass Area this week.
A magnitude 2.5 temblor struck at 11:49 p.m. Monday about 4 miles north of Beaumont, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was followed by a smaller one, magnitude 1.3, that hit at 1:01 a.m. Tuesday, about 4 miles east of Calimesa, according to the USGS.
There were no reports of damage or injuries.
The temblors went largely unnnoticed by local residents, according to the reporting feature on the USGS website.
