BEAUMONT, CA — Summer is winding down for Banning Unified School District families, with students slated to return to class for the 2026-27 school year on Tuesday, Aug. 6.
Here are key dates and bell times families should know before the new school year begins.
The first day of school for Banning Unified students is Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026.
Teacher work days are scheduled for Monday, Aug. 3, and Tuesday, Aug. 4. An all-staff work day is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Beaumont Unified posts school schedules by campus.
Elementary school schedules vary by campus. Some elementary campuses list regular schedules around 7:30 a.m. to 1:50 p.m., while others list regular schedules around 8:15 a.m. to 2:35 p.m. TK and kindergarten schedules may include AM, PM or all-day options.
Mountain View Middle School's regular schedule begins with Encore at 8 a.m., followed by first period at 8:40 a.m. The regular day ends at 2:45 p.m.
Beaumont High School's regular day begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday regular schedules include six class periods, with lunch assigned by student schedule.
Families should confirm bell times with their individual school, especially for TK, kindergarten, K-8 programs, early-release days, minimum days, collaboration days and special schedules.

Graduation dates for individual high schools are typically announced by each campus closer to the school year's end. Families should check with Beaumont High School, Glen View High School, or their student's campus for commencement details.
Enrollment for the 2026-27 school year is open for new students entering Beaumont Unified.
