RIALTO, CA — Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 63-year-old man whose nude body was discovered last week at a park in Rialto, authorities said.
Officers responded to a 911 call just before 5:30 a.m. on July 19 reporting a deceased man found at Rialto City Park, according to the Rialto Police Department.
Jose De Jesus Arriaga Loza, of Rialto, was found in the north-central area of the park. Loza's clothes, wallet, cash, and driver's license, were found inside a nearby trash can.
Police said Loza's face appeared to have sustained an injury possibly from a fall or a physical altercation.
Police said they do not suspect robbery was a factor in the man's death.
The incident is still under investigation.
A GoFundMe page to help with Loza's funeral expenses can be found here.
