House Fire In Riverside County Displaces 4: Cal Fire

Crews responded to the scene and encountered fire and smoke coming from the garage, fire officials said.

JURUPA VALLEY, CA — Four people were displaced Wednesday after a fire damaged a single-story house in Jurupa Valley, fire officials said.

The blaze was reported just after 12 p.m. in the 6200 block of Corey Street, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

Crews responded to the scene and found fire and smoke coming from the garage. Firefighters quickly knocked down the blaze around 12:25 p.m., fire officials said.

Four people were displaced after the fire but did not require assistance from the Red Cross.

No injuries were reported.

Fire crews remained at the scene for an additional two hours to perform salvage and overhaul.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
