New Sketch Of 'Person Of Interest' In 2023 Murder Released: Do You Know This Man?

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA — Homicide Detectives have released a new sketch art image of a person of interest in the murder of Victor Salazar.

Investigators Thursday asked for the public to review a new image of a suspect believed to have shot and killed Victor Salazar, 41, of Rancho Cucamonga on Aug. 18, 2023. The shooting took place in the 10200 block of 25th Street. He was believed to be driving a larger SUV, such as a Chevy Tahoe or similar vehicle.

"The suspect is described as an adult Hispanic male, with a heavy build. He weighs approximately 300 lbs., is about 5'10" tall and possibly has tattoos," a sheriff's department news release stated.

Investigators released the new composite sketch, and have asked that anyone with information on the suspect's identity to contact Detective Travis Kleveno at (909) 890-4904.
