BEAUMONT, CA — The Beaumont Youth Council delivered their first report for the 2026-2027 school year during the city council meeting on Tuesday.
The Beaumont Youth Council, which consists of high school students, serves as an advisory board to Beaumont City Council, sharing concerns that impact the local youth and recommendations to improve the quality of life for young residents.

The current Beaumont Youth Council was established after students applied by the Aug. 25 deadline.
"We're excited to see the positive impact they'll make in our community. Let's cheer them on as they help shape the future of Beaumont," the city said Thursday on Facebook.
