Arbor Day in Beaumont: Plant a Tree at Noble Creek Park
National Arbor Day is April 26, and in honor of it, Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District and Beaumont Youth Baseball will make their fourth annual pledge.

Local community members will gather next week to plant trees at Noble Creek Community Park for Arbor Day.
National Arbor Day is Friday, April 26, and to celebrate the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District, Beaumont Youth Baseball, and Cherry Valley Nursery are getting together to plant Italian Stone Pines and Ornamental Pears near the ball fields at the park, according to Diane Gonzalez of the the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District.
"If everyone in our community plants a tree native to the area, we’d not only create a new wildlife habitat and shade in our community, but we’d also help absorb carbon dioxide from our air over the lives of the trees," Gonzalez said.
