Armed Store Robbery Suspect At Large In Beaumont

A man accused of holding up a store employee at gunpoint and making off with cash is at large in Beaumont, police said.

BEAUMONT, CA — A man accused of holding up a Beaumont store employee and making off with cash Monday remains at large, Beaumont police said.

Police received a holdup alarm activation around 12:16 p.m. Monday, from a business on the 500 block of Beaumont Avenue. Responding officers spoke with employees who said the business had been robbed, and that a Hispanic man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black bandanna and a blue bag showed a handgun and demanded cash.

The suspect fled the store on foot and got into a silver car that was seen heading Northbound on Beaumont Avenue, according to police
