Badlands Traffic At A Crawl After Large Crash

TRAFFIC ALERT: CHP logs indicate a big rig was involved in the morning collision and as many as 5 other vehicles.

BEAUMONT, CA — Traffic was at a crawl Monday morning headed west from Beaumont on SR-60 due to a crash in the Badlands area, reports indicated. The wreck was reported at 7:43 a.m. near Gilman Springs Road.

Preliminary reports indicated six vehicles were involved in the collision, including a van and a big rig. The wreckage was blocking both lanes of the freeway.

It appears that three people have been hurt, and an ambulance was called to the scene, according to CHP logs.

Traffic reports showed cars were backed up to the 10 freeway interchange as of 8:30 a.m.
