Banning, Beaumont Area Average Gas Price Drops To Under $3
For the first time since May 19, the average price of gasoline is less than $3 in the Inland Empire.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped under $3 for the first time since May 19 Thursday, decreasing seven-tenths of a cent to $2.997.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has decreased for seven consecutive days and nine of the past 10, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped 2.6 cents over the past 10 days, including two-tenths of a cent on Wednesday.
The average price is 2.4 cents less than one week ago but 2.3 cents more than one month ago, 17.7 cents higher than one year ago and 23.9 cents above what it was on Jan. 1, partially due to a stretch of 16 increases in 18 days through May 29, totaling 5.6 cents.
