Banning, Beaumont Area Gas Prices Drop Slightly

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA -- The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped four-tenths of a cent Tuesday to $2.799, the fourth decrease in five days.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 1.2 cents less than one week ago and four-tenths of a cent lower than one year ago but 11.8 cents more than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price dropped three-tenths of a cent on Friday and two- tenths of a cent on Saturday and Monday. It was unchanged on Sunday.
