Banning And Beaumont July 4 Fireworks Guide: 2017 Displays, Festivals And More

Each city will be launching fireworks displays this year, along with offering some other great family-friendly entertainment!

PASS AREA, CA – If you're one of the thousands of July 4 revelers who hope to catch a fireworks show in the Banning or Beaumont areas, you're in luck. There are shows planned in each city for 2017.

In Beaumont, the festivities begin at 4 p.m. at Stewart Park, located on Maple Avenue between 9th Street and 11th Street. There's a park-wide celebration featuring food and free entertainment– including concerts by The Kraze and Cannibal & The Headhunters. What's more, the pool is open from noon until 8 p.m., with admission costing just $1.

"Join the City of Beaumont as we celebrate our Nation's birth in style with a swimming, market night, concerts and fireworks!" the city says of their plans. "Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and of course family and friends!" Below is information from the city of of Beaumont on the scheduled timeline of events:

  • 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - $1.00 admission to the City pool 'The Plunge,' located at 985 Maple Avenue.
  • 5:00 p.m. - The Kraze
  • 7:30 p.m. - Cannibal & The Headhunters
  • 9:00 p.m. (approximate time) - Pyro Spectacular Fireworks
  • 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. - Freedom Festival at the Park featuring food, beverages, arts & crafts for purchase

Over in Banning, a 4th of July celebration kicks off with free swimming at the Repplier Park Aquatic Center for youth. Then, there's a "basketball shootout" planned at the Banning Community Center that's open to all ages.

"Competitions will include free throws, hot spot, dribbling and ball handling," the city says. "Awards will be given to the top participants."

Next up is the Family Fun Fest at Nicolet Middle School, which is highlighted by the fireworks display that's scheduled for around 9 p.m.

"Activities include inflatable attractions for the kids, craft activity tables, face painting, BBQ and other good stuff to eat," according to the city of Banning. "Admission is free, although there will be a nominal fee for activities and food items."

  • 11:00 a.m. - FREE recreational swim at Repplier Park for kids under 12
  • 2:00 p.m. - Basketball Shootout at the Banning Community Center
  • 5:00 p.m. - Family Fun Fest at Nicolet Middle School, corner of San Gorgonio and Wilson
  • 9:00 p.m. - Aerial Fireworks Display
