Banning High Opens Football Season on New Field Sept. 9 Against Bloomington

Banning High officials plan to showcase their new football facility in their season opener, when the Broncos take on Bloomington.

Banning High School’s football team will contest a game that matters on its new field for the first time when the Broncos host their 2011 season opener against Bloomington on Friday, Sept. 9.

The recently completed features synthetic turf, an electronic scoreboard, and locker rooms for both teams.

Banning will also have the luxury of playing three straight home games at the season’s midway point. The Broncos will host rival Beaumont (Oct. 7), Rubidoux (Oct. 14) and Notre Dame (Oct. 21).
