Banning To Celebrate 110 Years Of Opportunity At State Of The City

The Banning Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual State of the City event, celebrating 110 years of opportunity in the Pass Area.

BANNING, CA — The city of Banning will celebrate its State of the City event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, according to a recent release.

The Chamber of Commerce and the Morongo Band of Mission Indians are sponsoring the event to be held at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, located at 49500 Seminole Drive, in the 3rd Floor Ballroom.

"This event serves as a platform to showcase the progress and development of Banning over the past year and to highlight the initiatives planned for the future," a Chamber of Commerce spokesperson said. "This event attracts a diverse audience, including local leaders, business owners, community members, and influential stakeholders."

The City of Banning was first incorporated in 1913 and has served as a stagecoach and railroad stop between the Arizona territories and Los Angeles.

"Banning is a friendly and wholesome place to work and raise a family," a city spokesperson writes on its website. "Our City features clean air, ample water supplies and the memorable and inspiring scenic vistas of Mt. San Gorgonio and Mt. San Jacinto."
