Banning Gas Prices Rise to Highest Amount Since July

It's not your imagination the average price of a gallon of regular gas in the Inland Empire the highest since mid-July.

BANNING, CA - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose Wednesday to its highest amount since July 19, increasing four-tenths of a cent to $2.854.

The average price has risen eight consecutive days, increasing 5.4 cents, including two-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 5.1 cents more than one week ago, 4.6 cents higher than one month ago and 22.7 cents greater than one year ago.
