Miguel Medrano and Felicity McCafferty won All Mountain Valley League First Team honors in baseball and softball, the league announced.
Medrano and McCafferty were two of nine Banning athletes to win all MVL honors.
Medrano led the Broncos in batting (.493), hits (34) and RBI (14). McCafferty led the team in doubles (10) and was second on the team in batting (.458), runs scored (25), and hits (27).

It was a rough season for Banning’s baseball team. The Broncos (9-`5, 5-10) won three of their last six games but missed the playoffs.
Joining Medrano on the All MVL team were second team selections Juan Gomez and Isaac Linares and honorable mention Ryan Fish.

McCafferty led the team in doubles and was second on the team in batting (.458), runs scored (25) and hits (27).
McCafferty helped the Broncos (10-12, 6-8) win five of their last five games. The Broncos missed the playoffs but in the strong finish they scored a 9-7 win over eventual third place finisher Notre Dame.
Joining McCafferty on the All MVL team were second team selections Laura Becerra, Taylor McCafferty and Andrea Villegas and honorable mention Jesicah Lara.
