Banning Woman ID'd As Victim Of Cabazon Head-On Crash

The deadly crash occurred late Sunday, near a fast food restaurant, and at least one injured person in this same collision was hospitalized.

BANNING, CA — The Riverside County Sheriff's Department Coroner's Bureau identified a Banning woman killed in a head-on collision in front of a fast-food restaurant in Cabazon on Monday.

Shaundeen Boniface, 46, was fatally injured shortly after 9:30 p.m. Sunday at Morongo Trail and Seminole Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.

At least one injured person in this same collision was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.

The crash was reported at 9 p.m. Sunday at Morongo Trail and Seminole Drive in front of an In-and-Out Burger, according to the California Highway Patrol. It was near the Redlands (10) Freeway. Caltrans was requested to repair 30 feet of damaged chain-link fence near the Redlands (10) Freeway.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
