Beaumont Calls for Special Council Meeting After DA, FBI Raid
The council will meet at 4 p.m. today.

The Beaumont City Council has called for a special meeting today.
The meeting is planned for 4 p.m. at the Beaumont Civic Center— a day after the same facility was searched by officials from the FBI and Riverside County District Attorney’s Office.
The meeting is closed session, which means the public can’t hear the council’s discussions, but there is a public comment period beforehand. There are two items on the agenda: “Anticipated Litigation” and ”Consider the Appointment of Interim City Attorney.”
