Beaumont Football Looks to Continue Winning Ways
The Cougars have some stiff competition in the Heritage Patriots, also 2-0.

Cougars football is looking to keep its record unblemished as it travels to face Menifee Heritage Friday night.
The Patriots are also 2-0, coming off impressive wins against 2011 CIF-SS Central Division Champion Rancho Verde last week and San Jacinto in its opener.
Heritage features running back Jamal Morrow, who racked up 266 yards and four touchdowns against the defending champs, according to the Press-Enterprise.
Both high-powered offenses have managed 67 points in their opening two games.
Heritage is ranked sixth in the Press-Enterprise's HS Gametime area rankings, while Beaumont has yet to break into the top 10.
Beaumont is coming off a 37-14 win over Redlands Citrus Valley in its new stadium. Senior quarterback Josh Martin led the way with 138 yards on 9 of 12 passing. Diminutive Running back Joe Jeffers added 152 yards on the ground.
The cougars offense will have it's work cut out for them as the Patriots have allowed just 19 points against in the first two games.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Heritage High School is located at 26001 Briggs Road, Romoland.
