Beaumont Introduces Dive-In Movies At The Plunge

The fun begins on June 13!

From the City of Beaumont: This summer sit back, relax and enjoy a movie poolside! Every Thursday from June 13 through August 1 the City of Beaumont will host a family-friendly movie night at the newly renovated Plunge.

Moviegoers can watch from the comfort of a lounge chair, blanket or while floating on a raft. After dusk, the featured movie will play on a giant inflatable movie screen. The inaugural summer series lineup includes:

  • June 13 – The Goonies (1985) Rating: PG, Runtime: 1h 54min
  • June 20 – Free Willy (1993) Rating: PG, Runtime: 1h 52min
  • June 27 – Mrs. Doubtfire (1993) Rating: PG-13, Runtime: 2h 5min
  • July 11 – Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971) Rating: G, Runtime: 1h 40min
  • July 18 – The Sandlot (1993) Rating: PG, Runtime: 1h 41min
  • July 25 – E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) Rating: PG, Runtime: 1h 55min
  • August 1 – The Little Rascals (1994) Rating: PG, Runtime: 1h 22min

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and movies begin at 7:30 p.m. Prior to the show, Impact Church of Beaumont will provide free hot dogs, chips & a drink to the first 100 guests. Seating is limited, and guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs, blankets and flotation devices. Movie start time is subject to change and events may be cancelled due to weather. Regular admission rates apply. The Beaumont Plunge is located at 985 Maple Avenue.
