Beaumont Library Now Offering Public Computers and Home Delivery
Computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis; district residents may receive home delivery if unable to enter the library

With the number of virus cases leveling both nationally, statewide, and here in Riverside County, Beaumont Library has been expanding its in-library services over the past few weeks.
On October 18, public computers were made available by reservation for 30-minute sessions. At the same time, the maximum number of simultaneous visitors in the library remains at 15. Curbside pickup ended on October 31, but district residents requiring home delivery can request it as of November 1.
Beaumont Library’s public computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis by signing up at the Reference Desk or calling the library at 951-845-1357 to put in a reservation.

The keyboard for each of the public workstations is covered with flexible plastic that can be cleaned, along with the mouse, between uses. Automatic hand sanitizer dispensers are also mounted in key locations throughout the building for personal safety.
Although photocopying will not be available at this time, printing can be done from the public computers or wirelessly from patron devices. Printouts will be released from the Reference Desk after payment is made through the change machine, which accepts coins and bills.

All prints are black and white at a cost of 10 cents per page. Beaumont Library does not have color printing, and it does not provide faxing or scanning services at this time.
As with all visitors, computer users must comply with state and county restrictions that require face coverings to be worn while in the building. Also, once finished using the computers they may not remain in the library to browse if they have exhausted their 30-minute time limit.
