Beaumont Offers Flu Shots at the Community Recreation Center
A licensed pharmacist from the Beaumont Walmart Pharmacy will be onsite to administer immunizations.

From The City Of Beaumont: Protect yourself and your family this flu season. Get your flu shot on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Albert A. Chatigny Sr. Community Recreation Center (CRC). A licensed pharmacist from the Beaumont Walmart Pharmacy will be onsite to administer immunizations.
According to the Center for Disease Control, “Getting an annual flu vaccine is the first and best way to protect yourself and your family from the flu. The more people who get vaccinated, the more people will be protected from flu, including older people, very young children, pregnant women and people with certain health conditions who are more vulnerable to serious flu complications.”
Acceptable Payment Methods:
- Medicare Part B—primary plans
- Insurance
- Out-of-Pocket—cash and personal checks
The flu shot is covered at a zero co-pay by most insurances and available for ages 8 and above. The CDC recommends that people get vaccinated by the end of October. If you are unable to attend the shot event, the flu vaccine and additional immunizations are offered at the Beaumont Walmart Pharmacy. The CRC is located at 1310 Oak Valley Parkway.
