Beaumont Offers Pass Transit Youth Scholarship

The aim of this scholarship is to increase students' knowledge of public transportation and stress the importance of community service.

The City of Beaumont is pleased to announce the Pass Transit Youth Scholarship! The scholarship is available for junior high and high school students on a bi-annual basis who reside in Beaumont Unified school district boundaries. The aim of this scholarship is to increase students’ knowledge of public transportation and stress the importance of community service.

Program Highlights

  • 2 hours of community service required per month
  • Great way to get involved in the community
  • Positive items to include on college applications
  • Free monthly bus sticker earned by completing community service

Qualifications
Scholarship qualifications are based on:

  • Grade-point average
  • Community involvement
  • Recommendation by faculty from the school
  • Guidelines

Scholarship applications for the Spring 2015 (January - June) semester are due on or before December 15th, 2014.
