Beaumont's New City Manager Sworn-In At Council Meeting
The city announced on May 8 that Boatman was selected as the new city manager.

BEAUMONT, CA — Beaumont city officials welcomed their new city manager Christopher Boatman who was sworn-in during the city council meeting on Tuesday.
Officials said Boatman has already been serving in the role of city manager but Tuesday's swearing-in marked the official transition to the post.
On May 8, the City announced Boatman was selected as the new city manager after previously serving as assistant city manager for the City of Redlands.

The city council approved an employment agreement appointing Boatman the new city manager on April 7.
"On behalf of the city council, we are honored to welcome Mr. Boatman as Beaumont's new City Manager," Mayor Jessica Voigt said in a news release.
