Bilingual Midnight Christmas Mass at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha in Banning

Nearly all pews were full when Mass began on Nicolet Street.

More than 300 people attended a bilingual midnight Mass early Sunday to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ at the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Banning.

The pews of the 380-capacity house of worship were nearly full when Mass began at the stroke of midnight.

The priest delivered Mass in English and Spanish.
