Black History Month Celebrated At Banning Businesses: What To Know When You Go
The Chamber of Commerce is displaying student artwork, and running raffles one day in February.

BANNING, CA — Downtown Banning is coming alive with creativity, history, and connection this Black History Month, and the Chamber of Commerce invites all to be part of it, according to a recent news release.
Residents can visit a variety of spaces honoring a century of Black History Commemorations on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 2 to 4 p.m. A scavenger hunt will take place at participating area businesses. "Get your card stamped to be entered in a raffle," they said.

"Local businesses. Artists and performers. Students. Community organizations. Neighbors. Families. All collaborating across Downtown to create an experience that honors history while celebrating the present," they said.
- The Art and Heritage Museum, open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. will features performers
- Banning's Chamber of Commerce from 1 to 4 p.m.
- Farm 2 Fork Cafe & Bakery from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Banning Blue Zones Project from 2 to 4 p.m.
"The Banning Chamber of Commerce is proud to participate alongside our community partners in welcoming you Downtown for this collaborative celebration organized by Banning Parks & Recreation," they said in a recent announcement.

"This is an event designed to be explored," according to the chamber's announcement. "Walk from place to place. Step inside businesses you may not have visited in a while. Experience art, music, creativity, and community spirit woven throughout Downtown Banning.
You’ll find activities for all ages, opportunities to support local businesses, moments of reflection, and plenty of reasons to linger, connect, and enjoy being part of our city."
