Beaumont Unified Is Asking How to Involve More Parents

A Parent Involvement survey has been posted on the district’s website. This isn’t the first Parent Involvement survey BUSD has taken but it is unlike any of their previous surveys. Instead of focusing on the classes and materials available to parents through the Parent Academy and the Adult School, the focus of this survey is true Parent Involvement. It surveys parents on their current participation on district and school site committees. It also asks participants about what the district could do to increase parent involvement in the district. This is something for which I have been asking for years.
