FOUND: PEMBROKE WELSH CORGI DOG near sundance homes in beaumont

We were out on a bike ride and far in a feild  above sundance homes in beaumontwas a dog panting, very thirsty. We gave it all the water we had. We went to the closest cross streets and asked residents in the area, no one had seen or knew where the dog belonged. We were not going to leave it wander around so we called Beaumont Police and they took posession: here is thier phone number Ph: 951.769.8500

The Beaumont City web page for lost animals ://www.ci.beaumont.ca.us/index.aspx?NID=222 gives a shelter but I am unsure if this was the shelter this dog went too. The dog was picked up about 10:20 a.m. Saturday May 5, 2012 about 5PM
