'Breezin Through Beaumont' 5K Race Kicks Off May 16

Officials said there will be rolling street closures and no-parking zones throughout the course.

BEAUMONT, CA — Pre-registration opened on Thursday for the City of Beaumont's annual "Breezin' Through Beaumont" 5K road race, which will return May 16.

The race will begin in front of the Beaumont Civic Center and continue along the islands of Palm Avenue to 13th Street. The participants will return southbound to 11th Street where the race will wind around Stewart Park before finishing back at the Civic Center, officials said.

Officials said there will be rolling street closures and no-parking zones throughout the course. The city posted a list of street closures online.

Registration for the event will continue to May 16.
