Breezin' Thru Beaumont This Weekend, Prepare for Road Closures
If you're not one of the hundreds planning on running or walking in the annual road race, make sure to plan ahead if you're going to be driving through town.

Get your running shoes on and head on out to the Beaumont Civic Center Saturday morning for the fourth annual Breezin Through Beaumont race.
The 5K/10K race starts at 8 a.m., and hundreds of people are expected to participate.
If you're not going to be out there running-- make sure to plan ahead driving wise, because there will be some intermittent road closures.

"During the events, there will be rolling street closures and “No Parking” zones throughout the course," the city's website states.

- 6th Street
- Oak Valley Parkway
- Orange Avenue
- Starlight
- Sunburst Drive
Organizers also suggest taking a look at the race routes to help plan your drive around. A copy of those routes are attached to this article above.
The race is open to anyone age 7 and up, and the top three runners in each age group will get a medal, as well as the top male and female overall in each of the 5K and 10K races.
