Become a Host Family

Hi everyone! My name is Jamie Thorn, and I'm an International Exchange Coordinator for Beaumont and surrounding areas. I work for EF High School Exchange Year. They are a non-profit company that brings 3000 exchange students to the US each year. I am looking for host families that are excited to share their family and California with an amazing student!

EF High School Exchange Students are ages 15-18 and arrive this summer. Students come from countries like Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Slovakia, Japan, Thailand, South Korea and Taiwan and several others! Choose a country you would like to learn more about, perhaps a country of your heritage or maybe your child is learning Spanish or German in school.

Our students are proficient in English, have high academics, and want to be a part of your family! They come with their own monthly allowance for school supplies, clothing, toiletries, activities, entertainment and other miscellaneous items. Host families provide room (can be shared with another child), 3 meals a day, reasonable transportation for school and activities and a caring environment.
