Cement-Mixer Truck Overturns On I-10 In Beaumont

BEAUMONT, CA — A cement-mixer truck that overturned Thursday afternoon in Beaumont on westbound I-10 jammed commuter traffic on the busy interstate.

The crash was reported in the #3 lane shortly after 2:30 p.m., just west of Oak Valley Parkway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP said the wreckage would take time to clear off the roadway. As of 4 p.m., traffic remained backed up due to the incident.

There is no immediate word on injuries.
