Check on Current Closures in Riverside County Here

The county has a special web page listing what roads are impacted by the recent storms.

The following is a news release from the Riverside County Transportation Department:

Commuters and other drivers who need to know which county roads are closed because of recent storms can go to the Transportation Department website for the most recent information available about road closures. The page, http://rctlma.org/trans/Road-Maintenance/Road-Closures, lists the names of the roads, the portions that are closed and the closure dates. The list only covers roads in the unincorporated county, not city streets.

Riverside County will continue to update the list with new information and will advise the media and public, when possible, with estimates about when closed roads will reopen. The following is a list of closed roads and the anticipated reopening times (which could change, depending on conditions), and roads that recently reopened:

  • Gilman Springs Road, closed from Sanderson Avenue to State Street, expected to reopen by Saturday at noon.
  • State Street, from Sage Crest to Gilman Springs Road, expected to reopen by Saturday at noon.
  • Soboba Road, from State Street to Chabela Drive, expected to reopen tomorrow (Friday) at 5 p.m.
  • Snow Creek Road, closed from Hwy 111 southerly, expected to reopen midday Friday.
  • Briggs Road, from McLaughlin to Heritage Drive, reopened at 3 p.m. Thursday.
  • Elm Street, from Bonita Avenue to Adele Avenue, expected to reopen Friday by 10 a.m.
  • Holland Road, from Briggs Road to Leon Road, expected to open by noon Friday.
  • Leon Road, from Domenigoni Parkway to Olive Street, expected to open by noon Friday.
  • Bridge Street, from the Ramona Expressway to Gilman Springs Road, expected to open by noon Friday.
  • Simpson Road, from Warren Road to one mile east of Patterson Avenue, expected to open by noon Friday.
  • Whitewater Canyon Road, closed starting at approximately four miles north of I-10 at the river crossing with no access northerly, was expected to open at or around 4 p.m. Thursday.
