Cops Hunting Suspect Who Allegedly Molested Child, 9, At Area Kmart [VIDEO]

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA – Riverside police are seeking the public's help to identify a man suspected of molesting a 9-year-old girl at a Kmart store earlier this summer.

The sexual assault happened about 8:30 p.m. on June 25 at the Kmart on Iowa Avenue, just off Interstate 215 in Riverside, according to investigators.

Detective Aurelio Melendrez said the suspect cornered the victim in an undisclosed part of the store and molested her, then fled immediately afterward.

Police described him as a Hispanic man wearing a black hoodie and gray shorts.

Security surveillance video images showing the man entering and leaving the store are available below.
