Crash Near Beaumont Causing Delays On Southbound SR-79
The crash was reported Monday on the southbound side of the highway, near the Lamb Canyon Landfill.
BEAUMONT, CA — A three-vehicle crash on Highway 79 south of Beaumont caused one vehicle to overturn on the four-lane corridor, leaving two people with minor injuries.
The collision happened about 11:11 a.m. on the southbound side of the 79, between California Avenue and County Landfill Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. Two sedans and a pickup collided, causing one sedan to flip over.
Riverside County Fire Department paramedics treated two victims at the scene, and both declined to be taken to a hospital for further evaluation, according to reports from the scene.

The highway was partially blocked by the crash, and CHP officers were providing traffic control to keep motorists going in both directions.
The cause of the wreck was under investigation.
