Crews Douse Desert Hot Springs Mobile-Home Fire

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA — A fire broke out Tuesday at a single-story mobile home in Desert Hot Springs before it was stopped.

The non-injury blaze was reported shortly before 11:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 17500 block of Corkill Road, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The agency said arriving crews encountered light smoke coming from one of the rooms, and it was contained a few minutes later to a bedroom.
