Deepak Moorjani was the Beaumont Public Works Director from 1993 to 2015. During that time Moorjani used his government position to funnel money to his private company, Urban Logic Consultants.
On April 22, 2015, Deepak Moorjani was Indicted by the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office for Fraud and Embezzlement.
On October 20, 2017 Deepak Moorjani Pleaded Guilty to Fraud. Moorjani’s defense was that he was brought in straight from India and had no idea what he was doing, which begs the question; how did this man get an Engineering License in the State of California?
Can the State Board please pull Moorjani’s Engineering License as he has already plead guilty to stealing taxpayer money.
