Deputies Fatally Shoot Man In Busy RivCo Shopping Center: Report
The search for a man with a felony warrant ended in a gunfight. His mother said he didn't deserve to die.
RIVERISIDE, CA — The pursuit of a man with a felony arrest warrant ended in his death on Thursday when deputies opened fire in the parking lot of a bustling shopping center in Riverside, ABC7 reported.
A shooting erupted outside of the Magnolia Tyler Shopping Center in the 3700 block of Tyler Street, across from the Galleria at Tyler shopping mall, the station reported.
Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department cordoned off a section of the parking lot after the pursued man was shot dead.

Tyesha Moody, the man's mother was in the parking lot and told ABC7 that her son did not deserve to die. She described him as a misunderstood person with a "good heart."
Authorities have not disclosed what led to the shooting.
