Despite Reviews, 'Perfect Guy' Perfectly Triumphs at Box Office

The all-black movie took the No. 1 spot over the weekend, beating out horror flick, 'The Visit.'

ā€œThe Visitā€ opened just a hair behind, with a $25.7 million weekend premiere, according to studio estimates gathered by industry analysts at Rentrak.

ā€œThe War Roomā€ was in third place in its third week of exhibition, with a $7.4 million estimated weekend take.

Rounding out the top 10 movies in the United States and Canada, as estimated by the studios, were ā€œA Walk In The Woods,ā€ ($4.7 million), ā€œMission: Impossible — Rogue Nationā€ ($4.2 million), ā€œStraight Outta Comptonā€ ($4 million), ā€œNo Escapeā€ ($2.9 million), ā€œTransporter Refueledā€ ($2.7 million), ā€œ90 Minutes In Heavenā€ (debuting with $2.2 million) and ā€œGallo Con Muchos Huevosā€ ($1.9 million).
