Driver Killed In Moreno Valley Crash; 2 Victims Critically Injured
The crash was reported at the intersection of Perris Boulevard and San Michele Road.
MORENO VALLEY, CA — A woman killed over the weekend in a Moreno Valley traffic crash has been identified as a Perris resident.
Diana Diaz, 37, was killed in the collision that was reported at 5:33 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Perris Boulevard and San Michele Road, according to the coroner's office.
Diaz was the driver of one of the two vehicles involved in the wreck. Her passenger was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the other involved vehicle was also critically injured, though the vehicle's passengers escaped with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
"It is unknown at this time if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in the collision. The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and no further details will be released at this time," the sheriff's department said in a released statement.
