Earthquake Rocks Inland Empire, Southern California Early Tuesday
The 3.0 temblor was reported just before 3 a.m. Did you feel it?
FONTANA, CA — A magnitude 3.1 earthquake struck early Tuesday with an epicenter of Fontana, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake struck about five hours after a 2.6 magnitude earthquake rattled Yucaipa, the United States Geological Survey website reported. The quake was felt as far away as Santa Monica, Long Beach, and Murrieta, according to the USGS Shakemap.
No injuries were reported as a result of today's quake.
